General
Does NY Kids Club charge a registration or membership fee?
No, there are no registration or membership fees. You automatically become a NY Kids Club member when you register for any full semester class.
Are there any perks that come with a full semester class registration?
Yes, when you register for a full semester class, you will get
- access to our Open Play
- access to discounted play pass prices for our special events
- access to our seasonal promotions exclusive to registered families

Classes
How many classes are in a semester?
There are 17 classes in the fall and winter/spring semester. There are 13 classes in the summer semester.
Will the price be prorated if I register after the start of the semester?
Yes, we accept registration on an ongoing basis, and the class price will be prorated.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes, you can join us for a trial class at the prorated cost of one class. Trial classes must be scheduled in advance with your location by phone.
I have been waitlisted for a class. How will I know if a space becomes available?
We will contact you via phone or email using the contact information you have provided in your account.
My child missed a class. How do I schedule a make up?
Sign into your account using your email and password, click on "My Makeups". Locate the class for which you are scheduling a make up and click "Schedule a Makeup". You will be able to schedule a make up to four weeks out in any age appropriate class on the schedule.
Can I unenroll myself from a full semester class online?
No, you must call your location to unenroll from a class.
Where can I find the NY Kids Club refund policies?
They are included on your class receipt that was emailed to you at time of registration. You can also find them on the Terms & Policies Page.
What is an independent participation class?
Children participate for the full length of class without an adult.
What is an active adult participation class?
One adult is required to accompany each participating student to class. Adults must remain actively engaged for the full length of class. Music classes allow for one adult with two children.
What is a gentle separation program?
An adult may accompany a child as long as necessary however gentle separation is encouraged.
Birthday Parties
Can I change the date and time of my birthday party after booking it?
Yes, you can change the date and time of your party 30 days prior to the date you scheduled, based on availability.
Will my child’s class coaches be the coaches at his/her birthday party?
No, our birthday performance team is a specially trained staff for birthdays only.
My Account
Do I need a NY Kids Club account?
Yes, in order to register for classes, camps, open play, and special events and to schedule makeups you will need to have an account. In your account your will also be able to change your contact information, change your account password, update your credit card information, view your orders, view your store credit, and view current and past classes, camps, open play sessions, events, and make ups, and more!
How do I create an account?
Locate the "Manage My Account" box in the right sidebar. Click "New Account." It is quick and easy to create an account.
I have an account, but the system is not recognizing my email address.
If you know you have an account with us, please call your location, and we will locate your account and provide you with access to that account. Please do not create a new account.
I have an account, but I don't know my password.
Locate the "Manage My Account" box in the right sidebar. Click on "Forgot Password?" You will be prompted to enter your email address, and your password will be emailed to you immediately.
I would like to change my password.
Sign into your account using your email and password, click on "Change Password".
Open Play
Do I need to register in advance for Open Play or can I just come?
Registrations in advance are required for all Open Play sessions.
How do I register for Open Play?
Log on to your account, click on "Playspace", click "Open Play", select your location, find the session you would like to attend and click "Sign Up".
How far in advance can I register for Open Play?
Up to two weeks in advance.
When do Open Play times get posted online for the following week?
Open Play times are posted on Monday morning at 8am.
Can I unenroll myself from Open Play online?
Yes, you can unenroll online until one hour prior to the open play session. Sign in to your account, click on "My Open Play/Events", locate the session you would like to cancel, and click “unenroll”.
I have been waitlisted for an open play session. How will I know if a space becomes available?
We will call or email you.
If I received a complimentary Open Play pack with my class registration, when can I begin using this pack and when will it expire?
A complimentary Open Play pack goes into affect on the first day of the semester for which you registered and expires on the last day of the semester.
When does a 10, 20, or 30 Pack of Open Play/Special Event Passes expire?
One year from the date of purchase.
I am enrolled in a class but do not have an Open Play pack nor the 10, 20 or 30 pack of play passes. Can I purchase one play pass to come to open play?
No, play passes are only sold in packs of 10, 20, or 30.
I am not enrolled in a class, but would like to come for open play.
Open Play is only available to students enrolled in a class.
I am registered for a class and would like to invite a friend who is not registered for a class to join me for open play. What can I do?
You can purchase a 10, 20 or 30 pack of Open Play/Special Event passes, and use one of these passes to pay for your friend.
What else besides Open Play are the 10, 20 or 30 Open Play/Special Event pack of passes good for?
These passes are good for Open Play, Family Fun for Everyone events, PJ Parties, and our seasonal parties (Halloween, Valentines day, Mother's Day, etc)
Special Events
What special events do you offer?
Family Fun for Everyone, Pajama Parties, and seasonal parties.
Do I need to register in advance for your special events, or can I come and pay at the door?
Yes, special events require advance registration.
How do I register for a special event?
Log on to your account, click on "Events", select "Family Fun for Everyone" or "Pajama Party", select your location of choice, find the event you would like to attend and click "Sign Up".
Can I unenroll myself from a special event online?
No, you must call your location to unenroll from a special event.
I am enrolled in a class, and would like to attend one of your upcoming special events. What are my payment options?
If you received complimentary Special Events with your class registration, they can be used for our Family Fun events, PJ Parties, and seasonal parties. You can also purchase a one time Single Special Event, or a pack of 10, 20 or 30 Open Play/Special Event passes at a discount.
I am not enrolled in a class. Can I attend your specials events?
Yes, you can purchase a Single Special Event online, by phone, or in person.
I received a complimentary Open Play pack with my class registration, does this give me complimentary access to your special events?
The Open Play pack is for Open Play only and does not include our special events. You can use the complimentary Special Event passes (if you received those with your class registration), purchase a Single Special Event, or purchase a pack of 10, 20, or 30 Open Play/Special Event passes for these events.
